Controlling your pages
Start with clicking on the "Create new page" link, you will see those fields:
Menu name - this will be seen in the menu list.
URL name - if you are using search engine friendly URLs option in settings, then this will be the URL to the page you are editing/creating.
Big text area - the content of the page.
Page Title: - the title of the page(title tag)
Description: - description of the page(meta tag)
Keywords: - keywords of the page(meta tag)
After you created/edited a page click on the "Pages" link, you will see a list of pages, left to each page there is:
- check box - check one and at the bottom of the page you can select what to do with it:
- Hide - will hide the link to this page from website's menu, the icon will change to red
- Unhide
- Move - choose the "Move" option and you will see additional drop down select with a list of all pages you have. Now you can choose where to place the selected page.
- Delete
- two arrows: down and up - clicking those and the page will jump up or down one page on its level
- icon - SimpleControl have 4 icons totally, white - normal page, blue - a page with sub pages under it, red - hidden page and a house icon - indicates which page is the home page
